Night Guards & TMJ
Do you grind your teeth at night? It’s possible that you do and you’re not even aware of it. Symptoms & signs include waking up with jaw pain, tooth pain and/or headaches, as well as a wear of tooth enamel in patterns that a dentist will recognize. Night guards are a soft, plastic device that kind of look like mouthguards worn by athletes. But these are specially designed with your teeth impression, and will provide a comfortable way to sleep.
If our sleep home test identifies sleep apnea, we will refer you to trusted colleagues for lifesaving care. If you snore without apnea we can help you with a Norval device, which helps reduce / alleviate non-apnea snoring.
I also treat TMJ. This is a jaw disorder that’s sometimes known as “jaw lock” or “jaw clicking.” It’s unpleasant at best and can be quite painful. If you suffer TMJ symptoms (such as jaw tenderness, earache, difficulty chewing or other facial pain), we have an in-house team and referral team to help.

I’m proud of the word-of-mouth I’ve earned!
